1. Does your office accept dental insurance?

Our doctors are not in-contract / in-network with any dental insurance companies.

Out of courtesy, we can help provide the patient with information necessary to submit claim(s) to the dental insurance for potential reimbursement. The reimbursement check will be sent directly to the patient. *Please remember that reimbursement rates & amounts are dependent on the contract between the patient, the patient’s employer employer, & the dental insurance.

2. What’s the advantage of choosing a provider that’s not in-contract with insurances?

When a doctor signs a contract with a dental insurance company, the doctor accepts a long list of rules, regulations, & specified fees for each procedure. Sometimes, the “contracted” fee schedule & reimbursement rates do not cover the costs of advanced procedures & materials.

Here are some examples of how a dental office may offset these low reimbursement costs: add extra fees & procedures to your dental bill, file more on your dental insurance claim, choose “budget-friendly” materials & dental labs, see a greater volume of patients, and/or reduce the compensation of staff.

When you choose a provider that’s not in-contract with dental insurances, your treatment & options are not dictated by the limitations of your dental insurance. Your provider chooses quality over quantity. Your provider has more time & freedom to work with you, and that’s a win-win for everyone involved.

3. Can I still be a patient at Narrative Dentistry if I have dental insurance?

Yes, of course! It is your right as a patient to choose any doctor that you trust & feel comfortable with regardless of what dental insurance you have.

4. What is the office’s payment policy?

The patient pays for the services rendered on the day of treatment. If the treatment extends to multiple appointments, our office can help determine a payment plan.

We accept cash and credit as payment options.

For insurance patients, the patient is still responsible for the services rendered on the day of treatment. Once treatment has been completed, our office can provide the patient with information necessary to submit a claim to the dental insurance. The reimbursement check will be sent directly to the patient.
